I am so excited to share what my friend Camey and I have been working on for the last few months. But first, a little background info:

Many of you know that when I became a mom, I was blessed to be able to stay home with my daughter. I had always dreamed of being a full time mom, not having to leave my child with anyone else, and always being there to witness the big and little moments in her life.

What I didn’t realize at the time, was that I would miss pieces of working outside the home. Interacting with other adults, being creative, having my own stream of income.

Becoming a Virtual Assistant was a natural progression for me. From 10 plus years in administrative positions, I knew how to do many of the things needed as a VA, and had acquired the ability to research and learn how to do anything else.

When I started, I found a course that included mentorship and guidance. This was the key to my success as a VA. I had my first client within 2 weeks, learned the value of networking, and reconnected with a great friend (Camey) who was also an experienced VA.

I’ve learned that each VA comes from a different background and has different experiences that lead them down this road. And often they don’t know where to start, what to do to gain the skills needed, or how to find clients.
